UPDATE: This is a hard post to write. We’ve spent months planning this night, and I was genuinely looking forward to being in the room with so many people I respect in the hospitality community. But after listening to our team and seeing what’s happening in the twin cities now, this doesn’t feel like the right moment. Our staff needs to feel safe. Our guests need to feel at ease. So we’re postponing the Velvet Antler × JD Fratzke book release event. Not canceling- just pausing until the time feels right.
